Supporting Small Businesses, It Matters

It is easier than ever to order online. A few clicks and it's at your door before you even remember that you bought it! But when you choose to shop small, you're doing something more meaningful than just buying stuff from a manufacturer. You're supporting a real person, a dream, and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes work.

Every time someone places an order with a small business, it’s a BIG deal. There’s usually a happy dance involved. Seriously, it's not just a sale, it's a celebration. Because that order means so much more than just money. It means someone out there connected with the piece and that makes it all worth it.

That necklace you bought? It wasn’t mass-produced in a factory. The pieces were picked out, put together, and packaged by hand—often with a cup of coffee nearby and maybe a cat sitting on the desk watching it all happen. At least mine does anyway. 🐾

When you buy handmade, you're not just getting a product. You’re getting time, creativity, care, and the artisan's heart.

Your support doesn’t help just the small business you're buying from, it helps other small businesses as well. From the suppliers, the post office clerk that you see every week, and the other small businesses that they work with. It’s all connected. Every like, every comment, every share, and every "I love it" means the World to a small business.

If you've ever ordered from my shop, shared one of my posts, told a friend about my jewelry, or even just cheered me on from the sidelines—thank you. 💖

Next time you’re shopping for something special, I hope you think of small businesses like mine. We may not have free two-day shipping, but we have heart—and we pour it into everything we do.

Until next time,
